Director of Institutional Sales

An opportunity to play an integral part, both on an individual basis and within a recently established team. ACY Connect is a regulated provider of multi-asset prime broker services, powerful end-to-end technologies and proven risk and analytic solutions.
You will help achieve ACY Connects’ business goals for sales growth of our institutional business by taking responsibility for growing a new client base.
This will include researching, identifying and creating institutional sales opportunities for the Global market.
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for researching, identifying and creating broker, bank and hedge fund, Prop desk relationships and other sales opportunities within designated regions.
• Responsible for managing your own book of clients, using initiative/established contacts to identify potential leads.
• Analyse and understand ACY Connects’ USPs and those of our competitors in order to maximize our position in the market.
• Identify clients’ requirements and offer relevant trading solutions, Such as Technology e.g., API, Liquidity or Risk Management services.
• Develop all sales opportunities, offering a range of potential products to clients including margin foreign exchange, CFD instruments, and other derivative asset classes.
• Negotiate and produce commercially beneficial business for and on behalf of ACY Connect.
• Identify and assess sales/marketing initiatives to assist in achieving personal and overall business targets, meet personal KPIs/targets and add value to team success.
• Negotiate and prepare commercial terms and partner agreements, liaising with the legal/compliance, Management and dealing teams where appropriate.
• Maintain an up to date understanding of the relevant financial markets, it`s participants and technologies.
• Understand and adhere to ACY Connects’ compliance guidelines; research, understand and adhere to specific local regulatory requirements for your region(s).
• Collate and review target client’s corporate documentation for Legal/Compliance assessment and sign-off.
• Work closely with the Sales team to request/analyse client feedback and ensure the relationships are running as anticipated.
• Suggest improvements to departmental process and procedures.
• Provide weekly reports such as contact reports, and business opportunities reports to ACY Connects` MD and sometimes CEO.
• Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role and participate in all appropriate training.
• Ensure a positive approach to challenge and provide open and honest feedback.
• In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department and ACY Connect as well as maintaining constructive relationships.
• Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
• Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
Requirements
Based in UK or Cyprus (Remote)
Proven track record of minimum 3 years of Institutional sales in FX/CFD experience.
Demonstrated ability to deal with Institutional clients and sophisticated traders.
Entrepreneurial spirit (Hunter/closer).
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work autonomously and meet targets.
A tertiary qualification, preferably in Finance/Business.
Creative problem solver, professional, honest and good team player.
Commitment to continuous improvement.
RG146 qualification or equivalent qualification
