Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Groups and Events Sales Executive for The Zetter, located in Farringdon. A key role within our central team and for the small but mighty Zetter group, we are looking for someone highly motivated and driven, to take the lead on all things groups and events, under the supervision of the Head of Sales and Marketing. Working closely with each hotel’s team and senior leadership to drive events and groups revenue, this roles contributes to the overall success of our company.

It is a stepping stone to a managerial and more proactive role as the group expends and the team grows, with our next property, Zetter Bloomsbury, opening mid-summer 2025.


Responsibilities

Manage all groups and events enquiries (corporate and social) for the Zetter portfolio, via various channels/medium, including but not only, telephone, email or booking platforms, in a timely manner, from enquiry to contracting stage.

Prepare sales proposals, quotes for all prospective business leads, for new and existing clients.

Build strong working relationships with direct clients and agencies alike, to ensure sales opportunities are converted and secure repeat business.

Ensure a high level of conversion in order to achieve or exceed defined budgets and KPIs.

Handle exclusive hire enquiries for our 2 Zetter properties as well as commercial filming and photoshoot enquiries.

Showcase the brand through property show rounds, cross-selling events and accommodation within the Zetter portfolio.

Assist the sales team with hosting fam trips and potentially attending some office presentations, roadshows or trade fairs.

Work closely with the coordination/operation teams to ensure that all details are handed over seamlessly and constant contact with the clients is maintained.

Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly, working with the Marketing team to create appealing special offers and targeted campaigns.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitor set and report on any key changes or new opening.

Be an ambassador, proudly representing our brand, embodying our values and commitment to our teams.


Requirements

Prior experience in group sales, meetings and social events experience is essential.

Proven technical knowledge: CRM, Event management system, PMS, Office,…

Strong organisational & planning skills.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Natural at sales, motivated with a proactive attitude.
