Analytics Engineer (£60-65k)


Orbition Group are delighted to be working with a business that are private equity backed. My client is on a mission to redefine group dentistry by offering the best in class support services tailored exclusively for high quality clinics.


The Business Insights department plays a vital role in the growth of the business and it is critical that the business maintains close control of the performance of its clinics. The role of the Analytics Engineer is to build and scale their data stack in order to deliver reliable and value adding insight by working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and create accurate self-service dashboards.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless data integration of all new clinics working across a variety of PMS systems.
  • Work closely with the business reporting arm of the team to ensure data is readily available and aggregated effectively for data visualisation.
  • Ensure engineering best practices applied to data models. i.e. version control, testing, error lodging


Experience

  • Excellent SQL skills, comfortable reading and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with modelling data for consumption by business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud based data warehousing e.g. Big Query, Snowflake
  • ETL pipeline management
  • Excellent communication skills
