Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Music/Artist Manager to join their team and oversee the career development and business affairs of their roster of artists. As an Artist Manager, you will work closely with musicians, bands, and creative talent to shape their brand, negotiate contracts, and ensure their professional and financial success. The ideal candidate is well-connected in the music industry, a strategic thinker, and has a strong passion for guiding and supporting artists.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop long-term career strategies for artists, aligning their creative vision with commercial opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including new music releases, tours, endorsements, and partnerships.
  • Guide artists on creative decisions such as album direction, brand image, and public persona.
  • Negotiate record deals, publishing agreements, and contracts with agents, promoters, and labels to secure the best terms for the artist.
  • Handle financial and legal matters on behalf of the artist, ensuring that all contracts and agreements are in their best interest.
  • Manage and advise on licensing deals, merchandising, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with booking agents to schedule tours, live performances, and promotional appearances.
  • Oversee all aspects of event planning, from logistics and contracts to budgeting and marketing strategies.


MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in artist management, talent management, or a related role in the music industry.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage the careers of artists, musicians, or bands, with a track record of successful music releases, tours, or endorsements.
  • Strong understanding of the music industry, including recording, publishing, licensing, and touring processes.
  • Experience negotiating contracts with labels, agents, promoters, and other industry professionals.
