The opportunity


As a team member of our global L&D team, our Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for working with the Director of Global L&D to execute the global L&D Strategy in initially for the UK, in our AECA region.


You will be delivering on our global L&D strategy by managing and implementing learning, capability and talent development requirements in partnership with the Regional P&C Director and Regional Leaders.


Duties


  • Support and implement the Global Learning and Development Strategy; and contribute to Global L&D efforts (programs, projects, initiatives)
  • Assist with the development of AECA Regional L&D plan in alignment with the global L&D strategy
  • Lead the design and delivery of UK L&D programs (which may include global programs) and initiatives in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Works closely with other specialist functions such as Employee Ex, EDIB; Health and Wellbeing, Total Reward (global mobility); People Analytics /HRIS.
  • Conduct needs analysis specific to the UK and maps programs and initiatives to address gaps, with focus areas outlined in the global strategy.
  • Develops project plans for projects and initiatives including scope, stakeholders, timelines, implementation, change management required, and in association with Regional P&C, and other Specialist functions, where appropriate.


Experience and knowledge


  • Previous experience designing, planning, and delivering L&D programs
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates an ability to influence, collaborate, build, and maintain effective working relationships with managers and colleagues
  • Working knowledge of designing and reporting on L&D Metrics
  • LMS experience – Workday beneficial
  • Occasional travel might be required
  • CIPD or equivalent accreditation
