What you’ll do


  • Development: Write elegant and efficient code to implement our SaaS product using modern full-stack JavaScript frameworks, such as React/Next.js, or Svelte/SvelteKit.
  • Deployment: Deploy the product in a scalable, secure, and resilient fashion using cloud infrastructure. Integrate third-party APIs and machine learning inference.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation to support further development, and write a manual to guide our users.
  • Technical ownership: Play a central role in shaping the product design, technical architecture, and backend services of our innovative product.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the founder, design agency, and other stakeholders to develop the product. Maintain strong communication, participate in code reviews, and respond to feedback.

What you’ll need


Must-haves:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Passion: A genuine love for podcasts, radio, and/or audiobooks.
  • Technical skill: Experience with building projects in JavaScript/TypeScript using modern web frameworks, and Git for version control.
  • Character: The ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment, and the resilience to overcome barriers and get the job done.
  • Creative problem-solving: The desire to proactively identify problems and find creative and elegant ways to solve them.


Nice-to-haves:


  • Expertise: Academic research or industrial R&D experience, in a relevant subject such as audio or text analysis/processing.
  • Media production: Experience with creating audio/video content, in an amateur or professional context.
  • Track record: History of implementing large-scale, reliable full-stack solutions using AWS and serverless infrastructure.
  • Databases: Familiarity with the design and management of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Technical versatility: Experience with a wide variety of programming languages and frameworks.
  • Team contribution: Eagerness to engage in high-level discussions on design and strategy, contributing innovative ideas.
