Based in London, our leading client is looking for a Revenue Manager to join their team on a permanent hybrid working basis.
This job would suit someone with at least 3 years’ experience as a revenue management within the hotel sector, to be responsible for maximising the RevPar of the hotels in the portfolio and managing the pricing strategy on a day-to-day basis, producing the different actions that ensure the best performance.
The glamorous global business is an international hotel group with over 1000 hotels in operation and under development in APAC & EMEA. Its commitment to responsible tourism has led the business to achieve phenomenal sustainability awards worldwide.
The successful individual will have good knowledge and experience in pricing, forecasting and benchmarking for a portfolio of hotels. They will have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team by example. Opera, Switch, Duetto experience would also be desired, but isn’t essential.
Job responsibilities:
- Understand market dynamics and monitor competitor pricing to grow revenue and RevPAR for assigned portfolio.
- Deliver effective pricing and ensure optimal inventory for all revenue streams and market segments.
- Responsible for implementing an aggressive overbooking strategy to ensure revenue maximisation, driving cross selling opportunities between nearby hotels.
- Embrace and ensure optimisation of new systems and tools to maximise revenue.
- Understand, investigate and extract data from any relevant system needed for problem solving and analysis.
- Generate revenue forecasts and budgets for all hotels within area of responsibility.
