Vice President

Agratas are looking for a Vice President – IT Manufacturing to be based in Bridgwater, Somerset responsible for our new Gigafactories being built in the UK and India. We are looking for an industry leader in manufacturing and general IT infrastructure with the ability to run a global team and own the greenfield set up of our IT systems at both sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an influential senior leader to have a significant impact on our Gigafactory projects and be part of Tata Sons £4B investment in green energy. You will be reporting directly to the board and own the manufacturing IT strategy in close collaboration with the CIO.

Please note, this role will be based in Somerset but, due to the global responsibility, there is an expectation of 30-40% travel, primarily to India and China.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish green field manufacturing setup in line with business needs.
• Own the timely procurement of IT products, solutions, related hardware as per the business and production forecast.
• Taking collaborative decisions with business peers in relation to their needs and integrate into the IT landscape.
• Drafting MSA with ERP vendors, negotiating warranties and service SLAs with various IT vendors and OEMs.
• Setup and Run manufacturing ERPs vis- vis SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or any other top line manufacturing ERP application.
• Understand the QMS requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams, to be responsible for periodic review of the IT QA audits and activities.
• Leadership to nurture and motivate the team to create an environment conducive to high performance.
• Carry out periodic reviews of Computer systems for validation, user access management, data integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Essential Experience

• Demonstrable senior management experience - establishing and running a global manufacturing IT function.
• Industry leading knowledge in manufacturing and quality automation and control systems and able to be a SME to the wider business.
• Green field manufacturing set-up experience and the confidence to do so in both the UK and India.
• Expert in manufacturing infrastructure, applications and automation technologies and planning a scalable IT solution (including – ERP, DMS, Track wise, SCADA, PLC, LIMS etc).
• Deep knowledge of Data Servers/Networks, cyber security and experience deploying various IT services and solutions.
• Proven experience deploying ERP, MES and LIMS Systems.
• Experience with planning, presenting, and taking annual budget approvals in line with business needs.
• Experience drafting MSA with ERP vendors, negotiating warranties and service SLAs with various IT vendors and OEMs

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Technology / Masters of Technology or Equivalent Qualification
• Certifications in IT infrastructure and ERP Infrastructure Management are desired.
