The Role:

Our globally renowned, world leading client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Urban Designer to join their collaborative team based in southwest London.


Working within a interdisciplinary team of architects, landscape designers and a talented team of urban designers, you would play a pivotal role within the practice creating unforgettable urban realms. Through prior experience working on large- scale projects in the Middle East, you would be crucial to creating innovative, diverse and global projects when integrating architectural initiatives into urban landscapes. The ideal candidate would have a creative flair, strong technical understanding and delivery skills as well as proficiency in Rhino and/or Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With prior experience working on urban design and architecture projects, you would be responsible for understanding complex and large-scale master planning projects
  • The ideal candidate would be a strong presenter both verbally and visually
  • You would be skilled in communicating narratives and design processes to the wider team, external consultants and clients
  • Through prior experience with Middle East projects, you would have a good understanding of the climate and culture to ensure a positive and future-proof design
  • You would be leading the junior members of the team when developing technical strategies and drawing packages
  • You would have experience working through detail design stages and technical delivery
  • The ideal candidate would be responsible for the coordination of the project with external consultants, suppliers and clients


Key Skills:

  • Previous experience on large scale Middle East experience is essential for this role
  • Proficiency in Rhino and/or Revit is necessary for this role
  • Ability to use Grasshopper would be beneficial but not necessary
  • Strong technical ability and delivery is required for this role
  • Great communication and presentation, skills both written and spoken in English is essential
