Position: Business Analyst

Location: Gibraltar

Salary: £60-70k


We are currently seeking a self-motivated and analytical professional to join our team as a Business Analyst (BA). In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing a range of IT projects within a telecommunications domain. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders of varying levels internally and externally, ensuring business requirements are identified, documented, analyzed and progressed within a structured and programmed environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business needs of the organization and determine technology-based solutions to business problems.
  • Ensure solutions align with the broader BSS/OSS architecture strategy.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirement specifications, process flows, and user guides.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members, including presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Test and validate technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented technical solutions.
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, computer science, or information systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, such as Excel or SQL.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and software, such as CRM systems or programming languages.
  • Experience in a telecommunications environment is advantageous.
