Angove is partnering with an award-winning insurance company, seeking an Underwriting Assistant in London. It’s an exciting time for the business, which is expanding and solidifying its position as a market leader in M&A in London.


What is the role?


As a member of the underwriting team on transactional insurance deals, the Underwriting Assistant will support the underwriting process, handling a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on and provide in-depth exposure to M&A and corporate transactions.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for entering accurate data into the internal data management system.
  • Maintain and monitor the corporate file structure on the corporate server.
  • Liaise with brokers on administrative issues, including premium payments and verifying information.
  • Deliver timely and efficient service to internal and external customers, including underwriters and brokers.
  • Review new business submissions with precision and promptly clearing them for processing, paying close attention to detail.
