National Account Manager - FMCG / Retail
Established over 30 years ago, our client is a leading distributor of fashion accessories to the retail space. They are currently operating in over 20 countries worldwide and supply goods to over 30,000 retail locations. Example clients include the likes of Matalan, New Look and Tesco.
They are looking for a National Account Manager to oversee a set of existing accounts, building long-term relationships as well as upselling & cross-selling across their product range. This is a great opportunity for individual with a background in national & key account management who are looking for a company where they can continue to grow; our client is committed to individual progression & development across their global workforce.
This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in London.
Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the first point of contact with clear communication
- Work with accounts to develop ideal growth strategies, identifying & targeting individual & mutual objectives
- Monitor & optimise sales performance for all accounts
- Maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders within accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams where necessary & support on cross-function projects
- Upsell & cross-sell product range as well as conducting a range of new business activities
The Successful Candidate
- 3+ years national / key account management experience
- Experience within the FMCG space is a must
- Experience managing national / key accounts is ideal
- P&L management experience of national / key accounts
- Experience upselling & cross-selling is essential, alongside new business experience
- Based in the UK, commutable to London twice per week
National Account Manager Package
- Basic salary: £50,000
- OTE: +£10,000
