Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the corporate development and M&A strategy in alignment with the company’s aggressive growth objectives.
  • Identify and source strategic acquisition opportunities within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Lead the evaluation of potential acquisition targets, focusing on strategic, financial, and operational fit.
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end due diligence process, with a keen focus on sector-specific risks and opportunities.
  • Design and negotiate deal structures that align with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring favorable terms and outcomes.
  • Manage all vendor and third-party relationships throughout the deal lifecycle, ensuring successful negotiations and deal closures.
  • Lead post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives.
  • Deliver regular updates and reports on M&A activities to the executive team, Board, and private equity sponsor.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the executive team, to align M&A activities with broader company objectives and drive long-term value creation.


Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in corporate development or M&A within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Demonstrable experience managing the full deal lifecycle, ideally within a buy-and-build environment.
  • Strong experience in private equity-backed businesses, with a clear understanding of the unique dynamics in this space.
  • Ability to independently execute and deliver on M&A strategies aligned with broader company growth targets.
  • Experience leading corporate development or M&A teams, with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and integration processes.
  • Likely started in M&A Advisory, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking, with a focus on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
