Consilium Recruit has been appointed exclusive recruitment partner to an advanced design consultancy who specialise in providing innovate solutions to the clean energy sector. Due to the award of new programs, they have a number of new vacancies to join their expanding team and are currently recruiting for a Senior Functional Safety and Cyber Security Engineer.

The Role


Deliver Functional Safety and Cyber Security functions.

Collaborate with system engineers, components engineers and external suppliers, to deliver designs within the ISO 61508 and ISO 21434 frameworks.

Ensuring compliance, for safety and security concepts along with technical, software and hardware safety requirements.

Participate in Reliability study for HW (Fault metrics calculations) and FMEDA.

Support customer reviews with functional safety input.

Deliver work products in compliance with processes for ISO 9001

Deliver tasks in line with project milestones.


The Candidate


A degree or similar qualification in systems engineering or an engineering discipline.

Strong experience in working across functional safety and cyber security framework.

Familiarity with systems engineering processes from requirements capture through to design validation.

Familiarity with MBSE techniques for system modelling.

Hardware verification knowledge.

Proven cross function communication skills.

Willingness to take on roles, responsibilities and challenges required to achieve company goals and objectives, including carrying out tasks directly where required.
