Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Creative Video Shooter and Editor to create engaging, visually stunning short videos for our employer's social media platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our employer's vision to life by capturing the essence of food, lifestyle, nature, motherhood through your creative lens.


About the Employer:

Our employer is a Danish-Chinese model, mother, and alumni of the French culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu. Based in Iceland, she has a profound passion for food, lifestyle, nature, and the beauty that our world has to offer. Her social media presence on platforms like Instagram and TikTok is a testament to her creativity and dedication to showcasing these aspects of life. She is now looking for a competent, independent, and multi-talented creative to join her team to direct, shoot, and edit short videos that captivate her audience.


Responsibilities:

  • Video Direction: Collaborate with our employer to conceptualize video ideas, storyboards, and creative concepts that align with her brand and vision.
  • Video Shooting: Utilize your shooting expertise to capture high-quality footage, paying meticulous attention to lighting, composition, and visual aesthetics. + Command of operating drone footage.
  • Video Editing: Edit and assemble video clips into engaging, polished short videos that tell a compelling story, using Adobe Creative Cloud or other relevant software.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all necessary equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, is well-maintained and utilized efficiently.
  • Post-Production: Enhance videos through color correction, sound design, and visual effects as needed to achieve the desired look and feel.
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies and ideas that resonate with the target audience and keep them engaged.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in directing, shooting, and editing short videos for social media platforms, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Excellent understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, lighting, and camera operation.
  • Strong creative vision and the ability to turn ideas into compelling visual stories.
  • Experience with color correction, sound design, and visual effects is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also collaborating effectively with a remote team.
  • Passion for visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt to the employer's frequent travel schedule & join in travels.
  • Ability to plan upcoming content for travel schedules.
