This role is a 9 month contract within RMA and is responsible for driving the implementation of our client’s ongoing marketing transformation agenda. The successful candidate will work directly with the global client and local markets to ensure the transformation is delivered on time and meets expectations. They will also serve as a subject matter expert, providing ongoing troubleshooting support to the wider team.


Reporting into the Global Social Operations Director, this role will collaborate with an in-house team of experts and agency personnel to ensure their skills and capabilities align with market requirements and global client needs. We are looking for someone with a deep and thorough understanding of all social media platforms and with a primary focus on compliance and governance. You will be an expert in the operational and regulatory aspects of these platforms, and have experience ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal requirements, while effectively collaborating with clients, local markets, and related technologies.


What you’ll be doing

Working alongside the Global Social Operations Director, you will:

  • Help conceptualise and implement governance improvements to support a sophisticated and compliant social media ecosystem for our client
  • Ensure compliance measures are integral to the governance model and consistently enforced, including policies, procedures, and the implementation of guidelines
  • Collaborate with agency partners and existing in-house resources to ensure all marketing and troubleshooting requests are fulfilled effectively
  • Support the client’s Global Social Lead in adapting global social operations as part of ongoing transformation initiatives
  • Assist with ongoing compliance efforts, including the monitoring and remediation of local market social media accounts
  • Work with the client’s media team and agency to leverage strategic global media partnerships
  • Support the Global Social Operations Director in various marketing engagements, including deck creation and content development
  • Stay informed on the latest social platform, product, and technology innovations impacting client needs.


Experience you’ll need to have

  • Technical experience in all major social media platforms and technologies (Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram), gained either client or agency side
  • Previous experience and knowledge in implementing media and marketing solutions for clients/brands
  • Able to demonstrate creative and critical thinking across a breadth of marketing challenges
  • A self-starter who is good at problem solving and knowing when to manage upwards
  • Combination of strong project management, client service and presenting skills
  • Able to respond to client requests in a timely manner, consistently managing expectations
  • Able to collaborate with people from other disciplines and internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate both creative and critical thinking across a breadth of marketing challenges
  • Care about company culture and can contribute to a positive, motivating, and inspiring team culture. You are constantly learning and sharing knowledge with others
  • Must be able to enjoy working in a start-up environment, able to manage the pace and ambiguity and prioritise work accordingly
