Job Introduction

In this role, you'll drive to improve performance/standards and facilitate the delivery and implementation of the Luxury Quality Strategy, in order to optimise our product quality and deliver on customer expectations.


Main Responsibility

  • To lead, motivate and develop Luxury Quality Team to maximise achievement and engagement within the team.
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance Processes and deploy quality standards that deliver requirements across the Cumbernauld site.
  • Contribute to New Product Development activities to ensure quality requirements and customer expectations are built into all new products and appropriate supplier standards are available on time.
  • Working collaboratively with NPD, support the development, implementation and maintenance of Luxury Quality standards for all newly developed products, ensuring that these are clearly communicated to manufacturing & quality teams in advance of any trialing/commissioning.
  • Investigate customer/consumer complaints supporting complaint handling processes and working with appropriate teams to establish root cause and implement robust corrective and preventative actions.
  • Manage Supplier Quality performance including supplier audits and supplied material non-conformances, validating and verifying corrective and preventative actions. Provide support to Procurement on Supplier Performance Management from a Quality Performance perspective.
  • Manage non-conforming products and non-conformance processes, facilitating effective root-cause analysis investigations and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented to support a ‘Right First Time’ approach and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Complete appropriate data analysis and trending as required to report performance as part of KPI’s and to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
