Job Title: Care & Support Practice Leader

Ark People Housing Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care & Support Practice Leader to join our newly established Practice Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting a learning culture and leading the implementation of our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategy across our services in Scotland.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs. As a Care & Support Practice Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of our PBS strategy across our services
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in PBS
  • Collaborating with managers and teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Ensuring that all developments are based on evidence and best practice
  • Working closely with our Practice Development Manager to achieve our goals and objectives

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual who has a passion for delivering high-quality care and support. You will have:

  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs and supporting them to achieve their goals
  • Experience of leading teams and developing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals
  • Knowledge of PBS and its application in a care and support setting
