To support the delivery of OEUK’s Supply Chain Growth Strategy we are looking for a subject matter expert to join our Supply Chain and People team as our Business Transformation & Growth Manager. Reporting to the Supply Chain and People Director you will develop OEUK’s Business Transformation & Growth offering, advancing the work done to date on the size and scale of opportunities available to the UK’s offshore energy industry and addressing any barriers to growth. You will also oversee the development of the data & digital strategy for the offshore energy sector as part of delivering our member offering.


At a critical time for the UK’s energy industry as we approach a General Election with energy policy at the centre of political debate, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high pace environment working with thought leaders and collaborating across the offshore energy industry.


Key Accountabilities


  • Drive policies and engage with operators, developers, supply chain and regulators to build a competitive UK-based all-energy supply chain that is well-placed to seize new opportunities at home and abroad
  • Develop OEUK’s Business Growth & Transformation (supply chain transformation) function
  • Maintain the OEUK narrative on the future energy supply chain needed for the transition
  • Determine priority areas in supply chain transformation
  • Represent the UK supply chain
  • Ensure the UK remains a good place for supply chain companies to invest and do business
  • Develop the data and digital strategy for the offshore energy sector
  • Develop and maintain high-quality working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders in the energy sector
  • Manage government consultations


Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes


Knowledge


  • Knowledge of large-scale change management, and strategic business transformation is advantageous, especially within the energy industry.
  • Experienced people manager familiar with SMART methodology and proven line manager skills


Skills


  • Significant proven experience shaping and driving business growth and change management, built on a foundation of engineering/technical experience
  • Energy Supply Chain experience preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience of working in partnership with and presenting to board and senior management stakeholders within both the company and member organisations
  • Skilled communicator and public speaker
