Job Title: Senior Consultant, Business Transformation

Offshore Energies UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant, Business Transformation to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain and People team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Data & Digital member offering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver OEUK's data & digital strategy for the offshore energy sector, including oil, gas, wind, hydrogen, and carbon storage.
  • Curate and deliver OEUK's events on data and digital issues, driving policies and engaging with members and regulators to deliver a regulatory environment that supports effective exploitation of data & digital, and cross-company digital collaboration.
  • Determine sector priority areas in data & digital, manage and respond to government consultations relevant to data & digital, and develop and maintain high-quality working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as data & digital subject matter expert to LOGIC, drive the value of OEUK's data assets in collaboration with the Market Intelligence team.
Requirements:
  • A college level education, in industry related subjects or a degree in Information Technology, GIS, Information Management, Data Analytics, Data Science or equivalent qualifications E.HND, apprenticeship.
  • Advanced level Microsoft suite skills are essential, with an understanding of data modelling and visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, considered an advantage.
  • Demonstratable skills and experience in data & digital, with specific understanding of E&P information types, and their current and legacy data formats and standards, how E&P data and information types are acquired, processed, and used, National Data Repository (NDR) operations and operational procedures, and good experience in acquiring, processing, using, or managing E&P information and GIS applications.
  • A disposition towards keeping up to date with information technology and its application to the digitalisation and automation of upstream oil and gas industry systems and processes, ability to prepare, analyse and present complex information and data in an effective and timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing, with specific expertise in meeting facilitation, project management, minute taking and external communications and the ability to deliver results through others.
