Circular Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a fast growing Renewable Energy Development business based in South East London.


The company have a substantial pipeline of storage and solar projects across the UK and are looking to appoint a Finance Manager as the company continues its growth.


This will be a fast paced role setting up new systems/processes in an ever changing/evolving industry.


You will work closely with the Managing Director and the preference is for a Finance Manager to spend more time in the office than at home - with hybrid/flexibility of course provided.


A very attractive package / bonus structure can be put together for the right candidate in what will be a pivotal role for the business.


Key Responsibilities:


• Provide monthly management accounts;

• Reporting on actuals and forecasts;

• Manage the P&L and balance sheet for each site and group company;

• Quarterly accounting;

• Tax compliance;

• Management of payroll and capital expenditure;

• 3 month cashflow forecasts;

• Provision of information to funders to meet the requirements of any funder agreements;

• Preparing annual budgets;

• Working with the teams to control and identify capital risks


Experience, Qualifications and Skills

Experience


• Qualified Management Accountant;

• 7 years’+ experience

• Renewable energy experience would be beneficial, or alternative construction/engineering/energy experience also highly regarded.


Skills and Aptitude


• Be proactive and hands on with the finance function of the business;

• Effective interpersonal skills;

• Works collaboratively as part of a team;

• Ambition to succeed with the right support;

• Good administration skills;

• Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously;

• Proficient IT and excel skills;
