Job Overview:
The Senior Bid Writer is responsible to create persuasive documents that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services, ultimately contributing to the success of securing new business opportunities.
Job Location:
Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the assigned Bid Manager(s) in managing bids, working in partnership with the appointed Business Development Manager to deliver agreed outputs within the timelines set by the customer.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of our brand and brand values.
- Facilitate solution articulation processes for proposals by gathering inputs from various groups.
- Apply prior presales experience to drive initiatives and projects that increase the visibility of the function, sharpen service offerings, design integrated solutions, and deepen engagements with client-facing sales teams.
- Analyze requirements and specifications, obtaining compliance information and necessary sign-off from Legal, Pricing, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Management.
- Execute against bid response plans, including writing, editing, and graphic design, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and style guides.
- Collaborate with team members to promote ongoing process improvement.
- Draft and write PQQ and/or bid submission responses using persuasive and positive language.
- Stay at the forefront of industry developments and client drivers to align bid responses with client/project strategic goals.
- Develop a knowledge bank of bid material, evidence, and responses to facilitate the strategic development of high-quality responses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, proposal managers, and other team members.
- Candidate should be willing to relocate to Cairo, Egypt.
- Native English proficiency is a MUST.
