Senior Project Manager – Construction

Salary: £110,000 per annum + £6,500 car allowance + travel expenses

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major construction project valued at £30 million. The project involves the development of a state-of-the-art laboratory, requiring a candidate with a proven track record in delivering complex laboratory or healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through to completion, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on laboratory or healthcare projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
