Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage our mechanical and HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, design, budgeting, and scheduling. The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.


Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of mechanical and HVAC projects from planning to completion
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones and financial targets
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure that project specifications and requirements are met
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address project issues and provide timely and effective solutions
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
  • Provide regular project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Mentor and guide project team members to facilitate their professional growth and development


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience as a Project / Contracts Manager in the Mechanical HVAC industry with a background as a project engineer for 5+ years.
  • A mechanical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within the mechanical and HVAC industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC design, and construction processes
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations


Day-to-day


  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor project progress and address any deviations from the project plan
  • Review and approve project budgets and financial reports
  • Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status
  • Mentor and guide project team members to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
