Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

Fawkes & Reece South is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our civil engineering projects in the water and wastewater sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing site staff operatives and sub-contractors, preparing and monitoring programmes of work, and providing method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors
Preparing and monitoring programmes of work
Providing method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans
Understanding tender allowances and monitoring contract costs against agreed budgets
Managing design co-ordination
Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors
Understanding and administering contract change
Informing, consulting, and involving local groups as necessary
Fostering good relations and reputation with clients
Promoting and ensuring all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures

Requirements:

Relevant industry qualification (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalent
Up to date SMSTS qualification
Appropriate CSCS card
First Aid at Work qualification desirable
Experienced in people management and motivation of staff
Good organiser, both of self and others with the ability to think in advance
