Our client is a high growth acquisitive Private Equity backed SaaS business providing leading operational solutions. In what is a newly created role to support growth both in the UK and internationally, they are seeking a talented commercial finance professional with outstanding analytical and data extraction skills to provide full visibility and analysis of the Sales pipeline and Revenue to the CFO, Board and Investors. You will play a key role in maximising revenue potential and data driven decision making including optimising process, aligning Sales & Marketing and driving improvements. This includes taking ownership of the ARR model, forecasts and analytics and involvement in pricing strategy and contract renewals. The business has a truly agile approach, and this new role can be based in any location across the UK provided that there is a commitment to maintaining a presence across the business and travel a few times a month.


Responsibilities include:

  • Business partner to Divisional MD’s supporting with forecasting as well as commercial deal analysis
  • Ownership of ARR model / Sales metrics, supporting pricing strategy decision making
  • Group ownership for analysis and interpretation of key SaaS trends to evaluate performance, trends and support CEO/ CFO to focus Exec on key issues
  • Ensure all revenue datasets and CRM (Salesforce) pipeline is robust, automated where possible to enable robust forecasting and planning
  • Work with the finance function to ensure processes and controls around the billing software is fit for purpose to ensure efficient and accurate
  • Work closely with the finance team with involvement in budgeting and forecasting
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to maintain and improve data insights for accuracy and relevance – ensuring data can be measured by product, channels and markets

Key requirements for the role:

  • Graduate level education with demonstrable academic success
  • Professionally qualified UK Accountant or similar
  • Experience of CRMs, ideally salesforce and ideally with SaaS subscriptions systems
  • Strong data extraction, manipulation and modelling experience ideally from Excel and data warehouse environment
  • Experience of provision of analytics and revenue and ARR reporting, with a SaaS/recurring revenue organisation
  • Data driven and analytical, with a deep understanding of working with large data sets and ability to interpret, detect patterns, present data and manage risk and optimise opportunities
  • A track record within a high growth organisation where you have contributed to revenue growth and productivity improvements, enabling the Sales team to be highly effective and supported
  • Engaging and confident, able to build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and the sales & marketing teams – both within the UK and based internationally
