About Us: We are a small but dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP), founded in 2002, dedicated to delivering top-notch IT solutions to our clients. Our team is passionate about technology and committed to providing exceptional service. We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team and help us protect our clients’ businesses, manage cyber strategy and implement cyber solutions. We have grown the company to 30 staff with a dedicated Servicedesk, Projects & Accounts Management Team. Our client base has also steadily grown since 2020 via a number of small MSP acquisitions and we’ve had a very successful integration with staff and clients alike.


Job Description: As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients’ information systems by identifying and mitigating security threats. You will work closely with our IT team to implement security projects, monitor network activity, and respond to security incidents.


Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.

Develop and implement security policies and procedures.

Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats via SOC/SIEM

Respond to security breaches and conduct forensic investigations.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Provide security training and awareness programs for clients and staff.

Train junior Security analysts to build the team over time

Conduct research to ensure we are using the best of breed products in our security stack

Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement secure network architectures.

Provide automated security reports for clients at executive level

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cyber security role, infrastructure or advanced 3rd line

Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).

Advanced knowledge of 365, Sharepoint, Azure architecture, security, Entra

Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, Identity management, layered security stack, SOC/SIEM).

Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
