Position Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious Key Account Manager with a proven background in selling composite materials and chemicals, ideally in the aerospace sector. This home-based role requires travel for external sales visits and company meetings.

As a Key Account Manager, you will expand our presence as a leading supplier in the aerospace, defense, and high-tech industries within your assigned territory or market sector. You will meet or exceed sales targets by applying strategic sales and account management techniques. Additionally, you’ll provide consultancy to help customers optimize their processes with our materials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets set by and agreed with the VP Sales.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers, tailoring visit frequency based on their needs and business potential.
  • Provide technical support on the application of composite materials to ensure their effective use.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations and specifications affecting composite materials and ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Prepare and present product proposals, quotes, and formal presentations to both existing customers and prospects.
  • Identify new market opportunities and build a strategy to expand market share.
  • Maintain an up-to-date profile of key contacts and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams (customer service, operations) to ensure delivery of top-tier service and value to clients.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduate or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Solid knowledge of composite materials and the aerospace industry's manufacturing requirements.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and specifications.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of success, ideally with formal sales and account management training.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • A competitive mindset with the drive to achieve targets in a challenging environment.
