Join us as we build an inclusive community because lets face it, barriers aren't beneficial for anything but your skin --- Finance Manager Department: Finance Location: Glasgow, UK Our Finance Manager will play a key role within our Glasgow HQ, leading our transactional finance team and supporting the business through a period of exceptional global growth. You’ll take ownership of core accounting processes, ensuring accuracy across monthly reporting, cashflow and financial controls, while managing and mentoring our team of Finance Assistants. It’s a hands-on, high-visibility role with plenty of opportunity to shape processes, support strategic decision-making and grow with BYOMA as we continue to scale role responsibilities: Consolidation and month end management accounts including Balance sheet, P&L and cashflow under tight reporting deadlines Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including review of intercompany and multi currency transactions Reviewing the accuracy of the trial balance and preparing journals including accruals and prepayments Assisting the Head of Finance with the preparation of monthly Board pack Supporting a team of Finance Assistants with varying levels of experience – responsible for overseeing their daily tasks, mentoring and coaching. Supporting the team across all aspects of transactional processing and working capital management (including credit control and supplier payments) Cashflow forecasting and monitoring Establishing and maintaining sound financial policies, processes and controls Preparation of adhoc financial analysis to allow the management team to make well-informed and strategic decisions Assistance in year-end reporting requirements and external audit processes as necessary what we're looking for: Qualified ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA with demonstrated experience of management accounting Ideally experience in a similar industry (FMCG, Beauty etc) Adaptable to business change within a fast paced environment Experience of working in an international and multi-currency business Demonstrated experience of leading and developing a team Commercial acumen and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills. Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent IT skills including advanced excel and experience in financial accounting systems, in particular Microsoft Business Central The ability to be flexible in working patterns to ensure peak times are covered in line with the Company policy and procedures Ambition and a desire for growth in the role what's in it for you?
