You’ll take ownership of core accounting processes, ensuring accuracy across monthly reporting, cashflow and financial controls, while managing and mentoring our team of Finance Assistants. It’s a hands-on, high-visibility role with plenty of opportunity to shape processes, support strategic decision-making and grow with BYOMA as we continue to scalerole responsibilities:Consolidation and month end management accounts including Balance sheet, P&L and cashflow under tight reporting deadlinesMonthly balance sheet reconciliations including review of intercompany and multi currency transactions Reviewing the accuracy of the trial balance and preparing journals including accruals and prepaymentsAssisting the Head of Finance with the preparation of monthly Board packSupporting a team of Finance Assistants with varying levels of experience – responsible for overseeing their daily tasks, mentoring and coaching. Supporting the team across all aspects of transactional processing and working capital management (including credit control and supplier payments)Cashflow forecasting and monitoring Establishing and maintaining sound financial policies, processes and controlsPreparation of adhoc financial analysis to allow the management team to make well-informed and strategic decisionsAssistance in year-end reporting requirements and external audit processes as necessarywhat we're looking for: Qualified ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA with demonstrated experience of management accounting Ideally experience in a similar industry (FMCG, Beauty etc)Adaptable to business change within a fast paced environment Experience of working in an international and multi-currency businessDemonstrated experience of leading and developing a teamCommercial acumen and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
