The purpose of the Performance and Improvement Officer role is to deliver effective performance management and continuous improvement initiatives, to provide support in these areas across the whole organisation, and to provide guidance and support on policy development.As part of our team, you will be responsible for:· Implementing the council’s Performance Management Framework and leading on performance monitoring across service plans and the Council Plan.· Ensuring risk management practices are embedded across the organisation.· Facilitating or leading improvement projects, including using performance management and process reengineering tools to drive continuous improvement.· Providing guidance and support to colleagues on policy development, research and consultation.Who should apply?We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual who has performance or change management experience, and who will bring positive energy to the role.
