Comparesoft is the UK’s first AI-driven B2B marketplace. We help businesses to compare B2B software – hence our name, Comparesoft.


KPMG, GE, Volvo, Siemens, Invesco, Barclays and 19,000 other large, medium and small businesses have used our comparison platform.


Vendors like IFS, Hitachi, Sony and 130 software vendors represent their products on our platform.


You will be responsible for producing:


  • Product descriptions for vendor's software products that connects software buyers with software vendors.
  • Maintaining product descriptions for software products that connects software buyers with software vendors.
  • Monthly newsletter focussed on vendor’s product trends and leads trends.
  • Attend vendor’s online conferences and events to ensure the information on product descriptions is accurate.
  • Work with industry experts to get the vendor content validated.
  • Assign leads to vendors in absence of Inbound Leads Manager.
  • Produce vendor success stories and press releases at renewals.


The role requires you to:


1. Take complete ownership of vendor’s product descriptions.

We are offering above market equity with this role. We expect the candidate to take full ownership of the role.


2. Be an A-player with product & vendor content.

You will have a deep understanding and contextual grip on editorial, graphics and video content so that you can deliver an impactful content experience with your product descriptions.


3. Be a customer-oriented product content writer.

You will be communicating with our customers for producing our product descriptions, so the role requires very good communication and positioning skills.


4. Have 2 to 5 years of experience in managing content-oriented digital products.

Experience with offering digital experiences would be very useful for you to accelerate your success in this role.

Day-to-day Activities:


  • Once a new vendor is signed-up, you will be leading the communication with vendor to get their product descriptions done. This involves booking online meeting and asking specific questions to the vendor.


  • Own and maintain product descriptions for all vendors. At any given point, there are a couple of profile pages to be written. Whilst the product descriptions are written in sequence, this is a fast-paced exercise and will require timely completion.


  • Liaise with external product experts to vet your product descriptions.


  • Work with Platform Manager, In-bound Leads Manager and Customer Success Manager to ensure our vendor’s get success from our association.

  • You have 3+ years of experience with product/technical writing.
  • You are good at communicating with subject matter experts.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in planning and delivering high-quality content.
  • You have experience in planning and writing complex content ideas.

2) We typically have a 6-month product content plan which means the content development work can be often planned and prioritised.


3) You will be working with the Product Architect, Platform Manager and Customer Success Manager giving you full exposure to our vendor content strategy and content stack enabling you to amplify and accelerate in your role.


4) We use Trello, JIRA, Googe Analytics, Mouseflow, ChatGPT and a few other tools for planning and tracking our vendor content management processes.


5) To support your continuous learning quest we provide a budget for your online training.
