In preparation for the 2024/25 academic year, we are seeking proactive and adaptable SEMH Teacher to support our educators and contribute to the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored, high-quality lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to enhance student learning.
Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external agencies.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
Strong understanding of SEN teaching practices and strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
