Position Details:
Contract Type: Permanent Engineering Position
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 10.15pm)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (plus shift premium, overtime, and bonus) depending on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:
Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship in engineering tasks.
Support equipment failure analysis and implement effective solutions.
Perform work according to engineering diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
Provide feedback to the Preventive Maintenance system to enhance efficiency.
Ensure all process documents and quality procedures are updated and act as a resource to assist colleagues.
Raise issues proactively to minimise cost and quality exposures.
Fully proficient in performing skilled engineering activities as per defined roles and responsibilities.
Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
Support both electrical and mechanical engineering activities.Required Qualifications:
Recognised Apprenticeship with electrical/mechatronic bias.
In-depth understanding of maintenance Safe Systems of Work (including Lock Out Tag Out procedures).
Prior experience in maintaining CNC machines.
Proficient in PLC diagnostic and troubleshooting.
