What you will do

This is a full-time remote role for a self motivated Business Development Director at Autus Data Services.

You will be responsible for new lead generation, business development, contract negotiation, and account management. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing prospects, negotiating contracts, managing existing client relationships and keeping the CRM system up to date.

As you build a portfolio of clients your earnings will increase accordingly. Writing multi-year contracts means that you will already be a good way towards your target on 1st January each year rather than starting from zero.

Support will be provided by the director/owners for you to develop your client bank using a range of market leading products. 


Your Skills and Experience

  • Lead Generation and New Business Development in a B2B environment
  • Account Management skills
  • Proven track record of successful B2B business development and sales growth
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable using Powerpoint, Excel and CRM systems
  • A network of sales/marketing/compliance contacts in senior positions in Life Co's, Asset Managers, Banks, Building Societies, General Insurance Providers, IFA Networks/Service Providers, FS Recruitment Consultants, Technology Providers, Trade Media would be an advantage
