At Connect it we’re fully focused on delivering an exceptional multi utility service for our customers. To build on our success we’re looking to expand our Commercial Team by recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting all the aspects of contract management, ensuring contract requirements are compliant with standards and to maximise delivery.
Oversee the commercial aspects and processes involved with keeping supplier information relevant and up to date.
* Be client facing and engage with customers to ensure effective project delivery.
* Help prepare activity schedules and assist with tender processes for new contracts.
* Knowledge of commercial and/or financial audits.
* Monitoring site costs on a weekly basis as well as labour cost allocations and processes.
* To ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
* Manage and report on project changes, ensuring best practise.
Educated in Quantity Surveying to at least NVQ level; Civils, utilities or highways background.
* Experience in building relationships with both service providers and company partners - including Executives and other Senior Managers.
* Strong analytical skills to be able to manage, collate and store data ensuring best practise.
* Experienced in using Microsoft Office (Particularly Outlook, Excel & Word)
* Experience of accounting and Customer Service software and applications.
