Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a high-profile data centre project in Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing crucial aspects of data centre construction, including subcontractor procurement, cost reporting, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tender packages and evaluate tenders to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Manage multiple subcontract packages, from initial order to final account, including remeasurement and claims management
  • Accurately maintain and submit monthly cost reports, collaborating with the site team to ensure project success
  • Attend client and subcontractor meetings, negotiate accounts, and handle claims professionally and in a timely manner
  • Develop and submit external valuations, ensuring client communications are smooth and efficient while keeping internal trackers updated
  • Work closely with the Project Director to manage the project budget, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • A can-do attitude with a focus on results and collaboration
  • Attention to detail and analytical proficiency to ensure accurate budgeting and reporting
  • Data centre experience is a plus, but not essential
