The company:
Innovative world leading manufacturer supplying of high components for critical engineering.
Main duties:
Promote, sell and market company products and value-added services to mostly existing accounts (70%) within the German and East European regions, along with continuing to identify new business development opportunities that support the company's capabilities.
The role:
- Responsible for the sales related to major accounts and drive business development opportunities
- Deal with the organic growth of existing key accounts in the DACH region and Eastern Europe
- Develop new business opportunities and required actions plans that support new PO placement
- Identify short, medium and long-term sales opportunities across a diversified sector of products
- Analyse and propose solutions rapidly and accurately for a range of queries
- Manage and monitor the development of sales activity on major contracts
- Weekly reporting to demonstrate target vs gap and action plan
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of product portfolio and capabilities
- Keep an eye on competitor activity, market trends, and customer requirements in assigned areas
- Advise the Director of sales of significant developments and opportunities ahead of time
- Manage all conflict resolutions with the support of line manager
- Lead quarterly customer reviews related to sales, delivery performance, quality, cost etc.
The candidate:
- Fluent in German to business level (written and oral)
- Confident sales person with solid track records in business development
- Ideally experience working for a manufacturing or engineering background but not essential
- Able to deal with very big sales and order numbers (discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- EU/UK travel will be an essential part of this role
The salary:
£60,000 to £70,000 plus bonus plus car allowance
