As Senior Sales and Business Development Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Technical Guidance: Offer expert technical advice to both clients and internal sales teams, ensuring a thorough understanding of the company solutions.
Proposal Development: Create detailed technical proposals and quotations tailored to the specific needs of each client, showcasing the company value proposition effectively.
Client Engagement: Travel extensively across the UK and internationally to meet with clients, providing personalised support and guidance throughout the sales process.
Presentation Skills: Conduct compelling presentations and equipment demonstrations at trade shows and client meetings, effectively communicating the benefits of their products and services.
Brand Representation: Act as a key representative of the company in commercial settings, embodying their brand values and fostering positive relationships with clients.To be successful in the position of Senior Sales and Business Development Engineer, you will possess the following skills and experience:
Degree qualification (Or equivalent) in engineering or a related technical discipline, with additional certifications such as HNC/HND being advantageous.
Previous experience in technical sales, ideally within a similar industry or capital equipment background.
Able to demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Exhibit the capacity to work independently and proactively, effectively managing time and resources to meet tight deadlines and achieve sales targets.
Possess a proven track record of successful sales outcomes, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for driving business growth and exceeding expectations.This position is based in Malvern and is easily commutable from Worcester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Leominster, Bromyard, Cheltenham and Evesham.
In return for your expertise and dedication, our client offer a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent upon experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including a company car, pension scheme, performance bonuses, and more.
