This role is offered on afull-time secondment or fixed term basis for 18 months. It is anticipated that recurrent funding for the post will become available during this tenure.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and facilitating delivery of regional stroke developments with the SY ISDN Clinical Leads and wider network. This will include ensuring that key strategic objectives are met and agreed key performance indicators for the network are achieved. They will take responsibility for leading collaboration between local Trusts and other core stakeholders, developing relationships and delivering service transformation across Trusts and places to make services in South Yorkshire (SY) more resilient and sustainable.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and leader,with a flair for building consensus among internal, local, regional, and national colleagues and stakeholders. They will work autonomously, becoming a subject matter expert and ensuring that support is always available across the network.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 18 months due to the post being externally funded. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the ongoing source of the external funding and the requirement for the post to be maintained.
