Our client, a leading distribution organisation, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team. In this temporary position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Purchase Ledger team and ensuring adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Support the Purchase Ledger team in managing all supplier invoices in accordance with our client's policies and procedures.
Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate financial records.
Resolve invoice queries promptly and effectively.
Post invoices and obtain necessary approval for sign off.
Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers, avoiding any inaccuracies.Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in an accounts department is preferred.
Customer service skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.Pay: £11.79 per hour
