Hiring RequirementsnCompleted recognized sommelier certification program (e.g. Certified Sommelier, WSET)nAdditional wine education or hospitality-related qualifications preferred.nMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at a reputable restaurant or wine-focused establishment.nProven success in wine service and sales.nIn-depth knowledge of wine regions, varietals, vintages, and production techniques.nEffective communication and engagement with customers regarding wine knowledge.nTrack record of driving wine sales and contributing to restaurant profitability.nExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills.nPotential leadership qualities and experience leading a wine service team.
Language RequirementsnAbility to speak and read English - analyze and interpret procedure manuals and memos, technical procedures or governmental regulations.nAbility to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, etc.
