We have an exciting opportunity for a

Senior Sommelier

to join our growing team at Sunset Hospitality Group – UK.

Who are we:

Opening its doors in September 2024, Amélie is an exquisite French restaurant within Belgravia’s historic Pantechnicon building on Motcomb Street .

A luxury dining destination set across two floors as well as an outdoor terrace, its menu will focus on Provençal cuisine alongside further Mediterranean influences. Amélie will bring the French spirit of art de vivre to London and will be one of Sunset Hospitality Group’s first UK openings.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Sommelier to work alongside our Head Sommelier to oversee the performance of the wine operation. Join our industry leading team of Sommeliers as we embark on our goal of becoming London’s favourite destination restaurant.nSunset Hospitality Group is extremely proud to be recognised as one of Dubai’s Great Places to Work, so we’ll all be here to support you in your journey with us

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in curating and maintaining a diverse and exceptional wine selection that reflects the restaurant's commitment to excellence.nOffer personalized wine recommendations and guidance to enhance the dining experience for our client’s guests.nCollaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.nContribute to the development of innovative wine pairings that complement the culinary offerings.nAssist in inventory management and ensure the cellar is meticulously organized and maintained.nAlways be client facing to develop relationships with regular guests.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

A passion for delivering memorable experiences for guests.nProven experience as a senior sommelier in a reputable dining establishment, demonstrating an advance understanding of wine regions and varietals.nStrong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests to provide memorable wine experiences.nA team player with a passion for delivering exceptional service.nAttention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the wine program.nWSET Level 3 certification or above.
