At Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals UK & Ireland, we are looking for an Internal Technical Sales Co-Ordinator to work under our GCP brand.
As part of the role, you will be providing Architects, Engineers, and Contractors with a high level of technical advice across the full GCP range of waterproofing products and systems.
As well as providing technical advice, you will also be identifying opportunities for our commercial teams to both develop and secure GCP specifications, promoting the brand and our products / services.
This role is based out of our Dukinfield facility.
What we're looking for:
Experience in below and above ground structural waterproofing and products, ideally CSSW qualified.
Previous experience in a technical role, with a good understanding of technical concepts and principles in building construction.
Knowledge to produce detailed design proposals in accordance with current industry standards.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.
Comfortable in working individually or as part of a wider team, to identify and deliver customer needs, ensuring the highest standards of service and support.
Must have an inquisitive nature with ability to ask questions, think laterally and have an eye for detail.What you will be doing:
Dealing with inbound telephone and email customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner to the satisfaction of the customer and within a specified timescale.
Outbound customers calls to pre-qualify all enquiries and establish the customers' requirements and identify opportunities for GCP products / systems.
Preparation of technical proposals, correspondence, details / drawings and specifications.
Identifying opportunities for the Commercial team to visit customers to both develop and secure GCP specifications and promote the GCP brand, products and services.
Recording all relevant information on the CRM database
Schedule further activities and follow up calls as / where required.
Monitor, develop and maintain projects within the CRM database whilst liaising with the Commercial Team.
Work closely with the Commercial and Technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
At all times you will promote a positive and highly professional company image to the marketplace.
Undertake administrative duties where required and as directed by the Internal Technical Sales Manager.
