Responsibilities:
As the Head of Payments UKI and Nordics, you will be responsible for:nIdentifying and implementing partnerships with financial institutions to build a best-in-class payment acquiring offering based on Android technology.nDeveloping, overseeing, and managing the payments’ alliances in the given perimeternOrganising community linking payment customers with other Sunmi markets such as ECR/Point-of-sales, auto-ID, etcnServing as the key product owner for the entire payment value chain, from merchant onboarding to payment processing and risk management.nLeading a cross-functional team across Engineering, Product, and Compliance.nBuilding a scalable payment infrastructure and product across UK, Ireland and Nordics.nEstablishing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders, including acquiring banks, card schemes, payment networks, POS terminal vendors, and merchants.
Role and Responsibilities:nConvincing and leading by example, collaborating closely with the regional team to build a local market presence.nIdentifying and developing business growth opportunities, especially with banks, premium retailers, channels, PSPs, ISVs, and SAAS companies.nSetting up a new organizational structure in Sales, Marketing, and Service to support stable growth.nManaging an interdisciplinary network of organizations on an international level.nContinuously improving local co-operation and joint product development.nParticipating in the overall strategic planning process for the local market.nDeveloping association strategies and standard strategies to align with SUNMI group interests.nContributing to operational marketing, sales, and service strategies.nGathering relevant business information on competitors and identifying business opportunities.nProviding marketing strategies and measures to achieve market objectives, sales targets, and market share targets.nManaging Group-wide strategic projects as required.nEnsuring compliance with all SUNMI group regulations and directives.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess:nminimum
5 years
of experience in payment processing/acquiring within financial institutions, payment service providers, and/or fintech organizations.nStrong understanding of both POS and online payments, with experience in POS terminals and the payment facilitator model being a strong plus.nA proven track record of leading complex payment projects to completion.nUp-to-date knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (PCI, EMV, Payment Services Act, etc.).nA firm technical understanding of payment infrastructure and the value chain.nAn entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on execution.nSuccessful sales experience in the IT hardware domain in UK and/or Ireland and/or Nordics.nPayment industry sales experience is a plus.nGood technical skills or knowledge, including hardware, software, and cloud-based applications (SaaS).nExperience in project management.nLeadership skills and the ability to interface with C-level executives (CTO/COO/CEO) and working-level professionals.nProblem-solving mindset.
