You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team and operate autonomously, overseeing the patient journey. Your responsibilities will include providing specialist nursing advice, offering emotional support, and driving service development and staff education. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be an advocate for patients and a key player in ensuring the highest standards of care.
Key Requirements:
Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
At least 5 years post-registration experience in Children's nursing
First degree in nursing or a health-related subject
Relevant qualification in the specialist area with at least 12 months of experience
Mentorship qualification
Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification
Experience in audit and research relevant to the specialism
Knowledge of safeguarding processes with up-to-date Level 3 Safeguarding qualification
