The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, helping them to achieve their academic goals and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional help.
Support students in their learning and help them to stay focused and motivated.
Prepare learning materials and resources as needed.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
About You:
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of child development and learning.
