We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Logistics / Transport Coordinator to join our clients global leading business. You will be involved in various aspects of the business, providing support to different departments while developing essential skills for future career advancement. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Assist in daily operations across various departments, gaining hands-on experience.
Using technical skills to organise transportation arrangements for clients
Using Geographical knowledge to ensure all transportation requirements are completed
Liaising with colleagues, third parties and other teams
Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Analyse data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Engage with customers through phone calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Participate in upselling opportunities by understanding customer needs and promoting relevant products or services.
Collaborate with colleagues on projects, contributing ideas and solutions.
Support the training of new staff members as required.Requirements
Either experience in trasnport OR a relevant degree
Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail.
Strong excel skills
Ability to analyse information and present findings clearly.
Experience or familiarity with upselling techniques is a plus.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
