Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving CareFlex’s strategic goals by linking commercial leadership with effective tactical execution. This role is key to boosting sales performance, improving service delivery, and generating sustainable revenue growth. Responsible for managing both direct and indirect sales channels, the Sales Manager will ensure regional activities align with national objectives. Their scope will cover people, partners, and processes, ensuring a professional, agile, and ethical sales infrastructure that consistently delivers results. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial insight, a proven ability to develop and inspire high-performing sales teams, excellent account management skills, and exceptional organisation, resourcefulness, and resilience. As a hands-on leader, they will coach and mentor their team, motivating them to exceed targets while embodying the CareFlex/CliniMed Vision and Values with authenticity. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Sales Management Lead, mentor, and develop SSAs and Engineers through structured coaching, regular feedback, and clear performance expectations. Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture focused on achieving and exceeding assessment volumes, conversion rates, and regional revenue targets, while maintaining exceptional customer experience. Deliver targeted 1:1s, development plans, data-driven reviews, and field coaching to continuously elevate individual and team performance. Encourage ownership, confidence, and ambition within the team by recognising achievements and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and commercial excellence. UK and Ireland Partner Management Own distributor relationships across the UK and Ireland, ensuring alignment with CareFlex values, commercial goals, and growth targets. Lead onboarding, training, and activation of new partners, developing strategic plans to expand sales and market presence. Build strong relationships, monitor performance, and uphold quality and brand consistency across third-party channels. Contracts and Tenders Oversee and approve all UK tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment. UK Strategic Direction Contribute to shaping and executing CareFlex’s UK sales strategy in line with the 2026–2030 growth plan and organisational objectives. Own the UK sales budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and contribution targets, ensuring financial discipline and accountability. Analyse market data, competitor activity, and customer trends to identify opportunities and risks, adapting plans as necessary. Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical Services, and Operations to deliver integrated campaigns, product launches, and initiatives that drive sustainable growth. Report regularly to the Sales & Marketing Director on budget performance, strategic progress, and market developments, providing actionable recommendations. Area Coverage Support any unoccupied territories due to sickness, absence, or vacancy to maintain business continuity. Manage assessments, presentations, and key customer relationships during these periods to safeguard revenue and maintain customer trust. Demonstrate leadership through proactive engagement and presence in critical situations. Person Specifications: Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing sales teams. Skilled at creating a motivating and accountable environment. Experienced in mentoring and managing team performance. Deep knowledge of the medical devices sector. Strong network of industry contacts and key decision-makers. Able to leverage relationships to drive business growth. Data-driven with strong analytical skills. Proficient in sales metrics and forecasting tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Builds strong rapport with customers and stakeholders. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Willing to travel across the UK and Ireland. Full UK driving license essential. Effective at managing a home-based role with strong regional presence
