Company Overview
Our client, a leader in their sector, are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.
This company are a reputable business with over 20 years’ experience in the Security industry. As a fast-growing company with ambitious targets and plans for further expansion, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company and progress their career in line with their growth plans.
This is a field-based role and you will be working with multiple clients across different sectors. These include HM Prison Service, Government Buildings, Ministry of Defence, Critical National Infrastructure and more…
Some of the services offered within the division are Access Control, CCTV, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems and more.
Business Development Manager (Security Systems – CCTV & Access Control) Role and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business opportunities within the electronic security sector
* Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers and partnerships
* Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, social media etc.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Collaborate with clients to understand their security challenges and offer tailored solutions
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales growth
Business Development Manager (Security Systems – CCTV & Access Control) Skills and Experience:
* A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential)
* Knowledge and experience of CCTV and Access Control systems is essential
* Proven track record of driving new business initiatives with a determined and proactive approach
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of effectively engaging with clients, partners, and team members
* Demonstrated resilience and ability to handle rejection positively, using it as motivation to persist and succeed
* Strong team player mentality, fostering collaboration and actively contributing to a positive team dynamic
